Here is my latest race.

The races starts at minute 7:45. I throw it off the road at minute 18:35 (brain fade). There were two minis in my class, one grenaded the motor and the other one broke the exhaust. I got past the wounded mini on the last corner but flubbed the downshift and he got back by right at the finish. Was great fun.

From the way that shifter is flopping about, it looks like Pokey is a candidate for a MadDat short throw shifter kit.

Good stuff Tom! Looks like a pretty fast track with pretty much all 3rd and 4th and loving that small hill that you go flying over in 4th!

Most of the corners are 40 to 90mph.

The right hander over the hill is called "Phil Hill".

I love that corner; as you can tell from the video as soon as I hit the kerb the car skates all the way to the bottom of the hill......so much fun.

On a side note: the fast right hander, where I tired to go around the Lotus 7 on the opening lap, is known as Riverside. I once tried to go through there flat in my Formula car; in that car your doing about 120 on the approach.....I turned in and the car went about 75ft before it actually turned.....I pretty much decided it wasn't flat at that point. LOL

I often wonder if Rally racing would be more exciting than Drag racing. Can't see that but who knows. 🙂
