Has datsun Nissan ever had this issue?

Looks like new Toyotas are not tested for real life situations of
spirited driving anymore just to sell them asap

I could have sworn there was an issue with the 1200 wheel lug nuts...

However, as I understand the BZ4X problem it is that the studs were not torqued properly at the factory. And the recall is to check them and re-torque to spec

And further, that Toyota claimed it is the reason for the months that production was put on hold ... which caused some to say it is just more excuses from Toyota for their lack of a competitive car, and that secretly they were working on fixing more serious problem with it, namely that the range far less than promised

This is all so disappointing, as Toyota has the right technology, but for whatever hasn't put it all together in a competitive package

Besides, wheel studs are the same as in a gasoline car. What has happened to Toyota?

safety first LOL
thank you for the detailed information to explain the issues, didnt know that was their view on why etc.

Toyota reliability is still one of the best still but its crazy to see these issues with such an expensive and history for quality.
I wonder if Datsun Excellent with the extra L series power had issues with wheel studs? either way I suppose these electric cars
are so quiet you would hear and feel your wheels wobble before they flew off! Unless the torque of the electric drive snapped them loose.

Personally the whole green agenda is getting so ridiculous that its obvious its another money grab for the 4th industrial digital revolution.
Some gas companies in Japan paid 1.2 million usd for one yep one hydrogen pump to fuel Toyotas first hydrogen fool cell car.
That price was 60% discounted yet didnt pan out well for the investors of such load of gas aimed short sighted monopoly.

Toyota was completely wrong to try and use "fool cells" that will never see more than 40 per cent efficiency from fuel
which makes them no more efficient than the 4 stroke engine. In Japan many companies are using fool cells for heating
houses as there is no fire but mainly wasted heat as the issue with their architecture.

Even worse is these houses in Japan trying to use solar panels with such low light through the year when there is free thermal heat everywhere.
In American the plan is all electric and panels everywhere which deteriorate and use more energy to produce and recycle over time and
here in this great video this dude is thorough in explaining the issues with solar panel designs but worse of all there is a 250kw or whatever
that monster truck is in the background at 20 minutes that could power a whole block and yet THEY are pushing for consumers to adopt 5kw arrays
smart meters and a certain limit on how many farts you are allowed per year eventually its getting nuts.

There is a small town here in Japan with 25 houses using a 100-160kw 12L six cylinder gasoline converted to run wood chip gas and the water used
for filtering the gases is used in fields as fertilizer high in carbon content much needed in healthy soils.

however how ridiculous to try and spend so much for 5kw when most SUVs or big commuter cars can power small towns.

at 20minutes Ford Raptor or Dodge Ram daily monster truck

Im happy with an mid x-trail atm it is so economical for 4wd, simple, reliable and cheap as chips.
Cars are getting too complicated and yet production checks to avoid loose wheel nuts is a worry.

Sunny Excellent had larger studs from the Datsun 510 1600. Those Datsun engineers knew their stuff

Nissan on the other hand ... March 2023 Recall of Nissan Ariya
