I got a whole engine for free, they're quite common in NZ, the bottom end is similar looking to the A15, from memory the number is on flat section near the fly wheel

michael,the quick way to tell the n12 dizzy is if it has a condensor on the side,it's points,if it has 2 wires running to the coil,it's electronic.they aren't common,but not too rare at the same time,if you know what i mean.

although i could use one on the a-15

gee i love having two driving cars and i havent even picked it up yet

this bloke i met is gonna be damn handy when i need to build a motor, his head is full of wonderfull information which he is more than happy to share on the might a-series

matt is it just as easy as taking the top plate of the points dizzy off and putting the top plate on from the E15? it cant be can it?

hey matt, what did ya do about the magnets that go on the dizzy's shaft?? Did the E15 have a collar on it and you just used that or.....???

Yes from memory the whole top shaft assembly just fits straight in. The top shaft with the rotor etc is seperate to enable the advance to work. It all just slips together nicely (again from memory, its a while ago and as stated earlier it has always performed well)
