Well the rain held off and the racing was good. I never found you Sammy but there were a few baby pushers there. I was absolutely stoked to find not 1 or 2 but 3 1200s racing.. get this 2 of them were 2 door station wagons!! The other was a 4 dr sedan. The wagons were from Palmerston North and ran A15s with twin 40 Dellortos...old skool yeah. I didn't get to talk to the sedan owner. The wagon boys were full on Datto freaks but had'nt heard of this site..shame on them!! The wagons were running 15.5 quarters with street tyres and standard 145 diffs...yep 1 diff cried enuff and they calmly changed it and carried on racing!! Now don't ask for photos because dumb arse me did'nt take a camera, I wasn't
expecting to see anything good. Apart from the Dattos my head was turned by a gorgeous 68 Dodge Challenger 440 6 pak in factory lime green and black stripes it was mouthwateringly horny...............

F#@!K it! my dad called me on sat nite and asked if i wanted to catch up with him at V8s, (i kno, shame on me!) so i got 2 see him, got sum good pics, 3 rolls in fact!! im sooo gana go to the next drag meet, but good to hear tht the datto boys were there, i think i saw a green 1200 wagon on 5 spoke alloys, as i left silverstream. raincheck stirlingmac?

i think the two wagons are from Palmerston North there are a blue and green one.the wheels are 14 inch motoforms.i know the guy that has the green 4door wagon,there are a few 1200's popping up here one of my friends is building a 1200 coupe racecar it has a mazda gtx 1800 turbo engine with link computer it also run a wrx diff with 4 or 5 link rear end.the intercooler sits between the frount lights, cant wait till he races it.

I was wonderin how much it costs to ship a dato over from OZ. it seams that u can get mintaz ones for quite cheap.If anyone has any idea can you let me know. cheers
