$1200 is is bullsh*t for a turbo rebuild. Shop around, you should be able to get a basic rebuild for around $400-$500.
And Barpk, it is probably worthwhile getting a turbo shop to check it out before you put it on. And since it is a very small turbo, why not see if they can hi-flow it with a bigger compressor wheel. Or you could look for a slightly bigger turbo. I have thought about using one off an ET pulsar 1.5 litre. They are plentiful and cheap

Those cooled by both should have an oil line in and out, and a coolant line in and out. Oil only will, obviously, only have oil lines in and out. I think most OEM turbos are oil-cooled only?

Barpk,
I think you'll find that turbo running out of puff for your A15. I owned a turbo charade and they only go to 6000 rpm and it was dying off near top end at 11psi. They are a very small turbo and heat up fast. Myself and L18_B110 are trying something a little bigger. Garret GT17, I am still worried it may be a little small. Oh well I guess I'll just have to put a T25 intake wheel on it if it is. My two cents. Craig

mine isnt A-15 but A-12 i.e. 1171 CC. i heard stock PSI for charade was 7 PSI only, did u modify the turbo to get 11 PSI? beside all i need is >10 PSI cos i am sure that with blow through setup carb will start to leak pressure.

Yeah, I T-pieced the charade and cranked the boost. Your choice of turbo will be good for around town. It will spool up damn fast but just don't expect much top end stuff.
