Rrrrright...well actually when I move to Japan in June I will be on the lookout for injection manifolds and will gladly share whatever I can find. I have been concentrating too much on the wagon lately. I just got done lowering it w/new springs, (attempting to) fine tune the Speed Demon 850, and putting some fat tires on back. Stinkin car needs a 3.42 or higher posi rearend now, but still runs hard, sounds mean, and has surprised many unsuspecting 'Stangs and Camaros. Only gets like 10 miles per gallon, compared to the Datsun's 30 (that's with the 2 40mm Dellorto's too!). Oh well, the Wagon will go into storage when I move, and the Datsun will be my main and only attraction for at least 2 years. Planning on totally redoing the body/paint first probably. Anyway see ya later.

Concentrate on that wagon! Then send me that A-series injection manifold! You don't need that when you have a Buick Wagon!

I have a IHI RHB5 from a '88 Subaru GL10 Turbo Wagon that I want to use on an A15. I think it's a great little turbo; water and oil cooled, and since it's from a 1.8L it should be perfect for a modified A15. Only thing is I have no idea how much boost it's supposed to put out/max out at. Anyone know? I would just throw my EFI on and get a turbo manifold made, but my engine would need a rebuild with forged pistons, and a better cam/valve springs before I can get it on there, and I'd rather get the body/rust fixed up and stronger diff and LSD than do the engine/turbo stuff right now. On top of that I've been having too much fun playing with my GAS GUZZLING 69 Buick Wagon that weighs 5000 lbs and runs 13's in the quarter. This summer the Datsun will start to get all the attention again though so don't worry. Anyone know the specs for the RHB5 Turbo???

It will be a long way out of its efficiency range at 14+ psi, but it should do the job you want it for.
They main thing you have to worry about with a turbo is play in the shaft. It sounds like it is alright, but what I would do is just put it on and see if it is smoky or makes any wierd noises.
As long as it doesn't have excessive play or you can't see any signs of the compressor wheel hitting the inside of the housing then I don't think it is going to fall apart.
Hope that helped...

hello guys i got a used IHI RHB32 Tubo for A-12 its off a 1985-87 1litre charade turbo, i know its small but i heard it spools real fast and is good for 14+ PSI, so i hope its good for 1200 CC also, as i want 6-10 PSI max. keeping in mind that i want 40-50% power increase at max, do u guys think one turbo is good enuf? or should 2 of them b OK? as they r cheap 50 USD only.
also the shaft rotates fine and no friction and play, but it when u rotate it at some point of rotaion it takes SLIGHTLY more effort, but its VERY little difference do u think its something to worry?
