the 200B struts(depending on model, imported only I think) are the same as 240K and both have the sumitomo twin spot calipers.
As someone posted earlier, the standard spring perch is too wide and needs to be changed.(otherwise contact with the strut tower could occur).

oh, ok

thats interesting, 200b struts are a lot easier to get

but why would ferral put 240k brakes on b struts if they are he same?

are yous sure they are the same strut???

As far as I know, only the imported ones are the same, which are a bit harder to come by

Stanza struts, or 240K early Skyline struts modified with adjustable height platforms and top hat to a suitable spring. You should really look around for a competent suspension specialist. Brakes are a pick between the Stanza setup with Bluebird rear disc as they are a match same as the Blubird TRX ,or 200B disc and calipers (the Girlock or Girling types I can't remember now which has bigger pad area) they fit straight on the Stanza Struts. Or use the Stanza brakes with modified discs and calipers. 180sx disc with Hilux calipers,
or some disc?? with commodore calipers.
argh I talk too much too many options

i don't know about the 240k struts, but 200b struts are shorter than stanza, which allows for a lower ride height.my first brake conversion used stanza struts cut down about 75 mm(3 inches),only to find 200b struts shorter still.as for removing the spring perches,it's easily done with light hacksawing of the weld holding the perch to the tube.note, that's LIGHT,don't cut into the tube body, you just have to break the weld between the perch & the body, then gently tap the perch off with a hammer.

Here is another variation on the stanza struts theme.

Stanza struts with S13 sr20 turbo vented rotors and r32 four spot calipers. Nice big brakes which should pull up hard! The bonus is that the four spots are alloy.

This is the setup I am planning to use on the club car. Thanks goes to Kev Rowley for this one. He is maching up the discs to suit for $100. If your in brisbane and want to get this done let me know and i can get in contact with him.

The serious brake kit for 13" rims uses 253 mm slotted and vented rotors. The calipers are the same as 240K but are spacered to fit the thicker disc.

240K has 253 and 270mm discs both are solid 10mm thick. By using the smaller 253mm vented you can still use 13X7 rubber and this setup performs as well as larger 4 spot setups and outperforms some.
Details are available if any are interested.

very interested!

I was about to upgrade to 240K (10"/253mm disc with twin spot sumitomo), hopefully before the QLD Hillclimb Championships (31 May - 1 June). I say hopefully because there's alot of other stuff happening too - rear flares, 240Z gearset (1st, 2nd and cluster) into my R30 stumpy Skyline box...

I'll send you an email

I saw a car once with stanza struts and had Magna Disc rotors with commodore calipers was supposed to be a good setup and imagine replacement costs would be cheap. I don't have details as what was done.....

yeah, familiar with that one - it's actually Verada discs ordered as blanks and drilled to suit Datsun hub. requires 14" wheels.
