Yeah, what can I say.....when you have an itch.....I needed a sedan right NOW! Most would melt her down, but I'm thinking RHD convertable. Or removable hardtop. Whatever the case, it will be on the pavement. And I refer to ground clearance as well as movement. By the way David G...........What do you do for a living that allows you so much time to keep us all informed? You're amazing. Thank you.

What do I do for a living? I live here, at datsun1200.com, reading about 1200s. If you read all 19,000 posts you'll have no life either. In my spare time I'm a Support Eng. I try to read the new posts every night, sometimes I check before I go to work.

Any convert frame out there come to your mind for approx fit? I'll just travel the wreckers and maybe try to get orig manufacturer specs.(How to do THAT is unknown) PS If you're up in WA, maybe next time I visit my bro, we can meet.(Seattle)

cool.
On second thought, bag the convertible and make it a removable hardtop. Then you don't need to fit a top mechanism. A few mini-trucks are converted this way. Dodge even had a factory Dakota like this. You can view topic.
