Yeah, but there's a good parts car in idaho. It's complete except:

No master cylinder
no carb
no water pump
no left fender
no title

The problem is the Idaho car doesn't have a title, so you may not be able to get it registered.

I sent you some e-mail.

Here in CA, if a car is not registered for 7-8 years, it drops off of the DMV computer. If it's stolen, I think it stays on record permanently.
You would have to fill out some extra forms stating where the car has been, take the car to DMV for a VIN verification, and away you go. I did all of this last year. My current 1200 "was an old parts car, sitting in my parents back yard"

Hmmm ... that might work. In Washington, you have to write to the documented address for the titled owner. If the letter comes back, they'll issue a conditional. If no claims are made in two years, they issue a new title.

The car is at Dan's Auto Farm, west of Boise, ID, near the Oregon border. He also has a coupe.

Hey No, your e-mail came back. If you have a new address, you could update your club profile.

I sent you a PM (see the Message menu on the left side here).

No, what are your plans? Are you going to fix up the eBay-Mobile, or buy that nice one out in San Bernardino?

Sorry for the delay. I forgot to update my profile, thanks. The Castro Valley sedan needs a new rear end, as in posts back! Some body shops won't take it on. Others say time/material, approx 2-5K USD. Might just buy my own welding equip and give it a go. Idaho Dan has not returned my inquire. Too busy right now to go to LA. I'll keep it & keep looking for another. I want a RHD sedan.
