theres a lot of difference between 100 flywheel hp and 100 rear wheel hp (about 20-25hp). a lighten and balance wouldnt hurt while your at it. it will make it smoother and rev easer and freer.

So by slapping a14 pistons onto a12 crank and rods, giving effectily 1300cc, with a shaved head, extractors and either a 32/36 dgv or dual carbs, and possibly and electronic ignition kit, t would be feasible and cost effective for approx 100 hp, and depending on tuning, even at the wheels.

simply probably no. the crank may not clear the bottom of the cylinder skirts and the shorter rods may put the pistons too close to the counterweights.

A10 stroke is 59mm so the rods must be really short. They could mayb be too short unless using a custom piston and also the a10 rods Ive read somewhere are forged and cheap for low compression alternative when fitted on turboed a12s.
