now this may sound like a stupid question, but i am currently researching my first car, the mighty Datsun 1200 Ute. and i was wondering from all you ute owners out there, how comfortable your ride is as far as headspace, legroom etc. goes??? now i'm not a giant, heck i just scrape in on 6ft, but i think i should take all factors into consideration. especially considering it's going to be my daily driver. thanks in advance, Tom

mate i am 6"1 and i find the size no worries!! the only thing is maybe leg room but only annoying if driving 1000's of KMs. i also have 6x9 in the doors i and i dont feel cramped..... if you are goona buy a ute diffentaly get rid of the big clown steering wheel put on a nice small steering wheel from super or autobarn, this will free lots of room up.

my head doenst get near the roof either, i find the ute to have good amount of room unless you are say 150kg

p.s i am about to put a boxed sub in, so there is plenty of room for lifes little luxuries

I'm 6 ft. No problems. Except now that I can't bend my knee. That makes it a bit of a drama. So don't get one if you have a broken knee like me

I am 6 even and have no probs, but I have long legs so they bend up a bit. I set the passenger seat (rigid) 4' forward to put a sub box in. One my mates is a basket baller, 6"6', he get in and his knees rest on the close side of the glove box. Pretty funny to watch,

Youll be fine

im just on 6 foot and I found it a bit strange at first, theres really not much leg room, but after about a week I was used to it and driving any other car was just plain strange. The only niggles I had with the ute was that my knee used to rest right on the window winder and it got really annoying after a while!
