Just wondering if any ones fitted a celica 5 speed to an a12 ?

i have a 5 speed ally case box in the shed from a previous car i was considering fitting it to the 120y by using the standard bell housing (ei. then can use standard starter motor and fly wheel!!)
and making an adaptor plate from the standard bell housing to the celica box!!

seems a pain in the ass but 5 speeds are hard to come by and they cost $$

Just curious to whether anyone has done it before??

you can buy a bell to do it for 400-450 if ya cant be bothered

a guy up here runs on on his a12 in coupe, he said it was a pain to get in

any info anyone has on this conversion would be much apreciated i've been offered the same sort of gearbox.

it would be nice to have that extra gear.
