Is the engine type on the left hand side of the block with a 5 digit number in front of it?
It's hard to read on my engine but it looks like it says 40679A14.
Should I look anywhere else for other relevant numbers?
Thanks Matty

its usually on the drivers side at the back under the third of forth spark plug, all the ones ive seen have say A14 on one area then next to that it has a number, i thought more than 5 numbers long, but always the a-14 first not last

On the driver's side under the spark plug nearest the driver it says NISSAN JAPAN and under the spark plug second closest to the radiator it has a number something like 204659E.
