Are parts available for datsun 1200 steering boxes or is there a change over unit available.
I need to get rid of the play in my steering wheel and have just been told that parts aren't available............
THEY MUST BE.............. MUSN'T THEY????

Turn the steering wheel hard left and have someone hold it there. Loosen the nut off in the middle of the box while using a blade screw driver to keep the threaded rod in one place. Once nut loose tighten the rod and then retighten the nut. Turn wheel hard right and repeat.
