i know this is an old thread ..... but geez its got some funny stuff in it Quote:
And when you drive one you know you've actually got a job to do, not just sit there starting at the 'pillar mounted white face gauges' and admiring the reflection of your Porsche GT3 rear wing in the passing shop windows while using your steering wheel mounted wireless remote to bring up the bottom end in the 18 speaker flourescent lit titamium woofer oxygen free speaker cable sound system to compensate for all the stuffed teddy bears sitting on your parcel shelf as the finance companies take $70 a week to pay for the 20 inch chrome wannabe alloys and you ponder what it would be like to have sex with a woman.....
by tsillay had me cackin myself

i reckon the gtir engine and running gear stuffed in under a little ol sedan would be magnificent

any of you guys that posted over 2 years ago had any new ideas or still happy if you got what you listed ????

what's wrong with a hairdryer?

mmm, do I have to answer that? heh heh

The only problem I see with plonking in a rotisarie is the fact that you guys already have the RX3 coupe. Now leave the Datto's to us or we'll start putting 4 pots in them.

Sounds like when I was getting my coupe painted Chris. Mind you I got a shmiko 2-pak paint job at mates rates so I could let it go on for a little while but then I had to start calling and dropping in cause I was getting inpatient.

My dream Datto driveline?? Well...like some of you guys have said already, its what I am building at the moment. I just want my rally motor built and running hard.

But for a circuit or street Datto I would love either of the following: An SR20DE with the quad throttle bodies like the photo of that black coupe, an SR20DET equipped coupe that could break traction when ever you wanted but also had such good suspension that it could also stick to the road like #### to a blanket, even off the line. Thats a hard one to understand isnt it, but if money was really no object I still love the idea of shoe horning an RB26DETT and Hollinger 6 speed sequential gearbox into a 1200 Coupe. This thing should also have the suspension mentioned above. Imagine it, whooping Skylines, Porches, M3's, you name it it could spank it, oohhh baby! It would have to have flares and some wicked new school alloys. Coated in my old coupes colour...GT-R Skyline Charcoal Metallic Grey. What a horn bag!

I'm not sure if it will. I'll have to sell some shares to get it done. I really want it finished for the nationals.

I don't know what state the car is in. I was going to call up this afternoon, but I got called for work, and was busy almost all weekend with work...The weekend of work will pay for some of the interior retrim. So I guess that's good.

I might have a day off this week, so I can go have a look.

Chris.

Same here Chris i would also like to get my coupe finished and with unlimited funds would not change that much except make the paint and panel spot on. & a set of 15x7 and 15x8 superlights would look nice with big brakes trick susspension and maybe a nice smick interior racing seats and harness 500 odd Horsepower wouldnt go astray eithere LOL.
I look forward to seeing your car on the road let us know if you plan to take it to the creek Ill come down for a drive and inspect. Do you know if it will be ready for that nationals?? I was going to head down south but misses is due that week so I dont think ill push teh friendship. LOL
