I actually sell the VW's and unfortunately the boys from germany said that as a product knowledge excersise we all must drive the W8 Passat for a week .

Not as fast as the dato, but for a road car, around the Yarra Blvd held on well. (for melbourne drivers)

bring on the W12 in the VW Phaeton and the W16 Quad turbo in the Bugatti

i know it's not a 1200 but a 120y with a twin turbo 20B tripple rotor with NOS lots of it running through a six speed box big diff and slicks on the rear cos it would need them. and possibly a wheelie bar

I don't want 20 inch wheels on a 1200. I think big wheels on a ute is cool. Not cool on a sedan or coupe, where I think 13x7 or 13x8 alloys are the coolest. Lowered with rounded steel flares (not bolt on).

I'd like a kick ass engine, with "stealth" exhaust or loud-as exhaust. All or nothing kind of style.

Actually..I'd just like to get my project finished..that's pretty much a reflection of what I want. Having more money would only make it happen quicker. I'm pretty excited about what my rear suspension will look like. It'll hang nicely out the back of the car, looking at it from behind will be mean, with the diagonal mounted coil overs and chromed big diff cover.
I'm now dreaming about a hard drag launch..with the car squatting in the rear and the car taking off slightly diagonally with a little body twist...front wheels only just off the ground...And the sound of an Ari Vartenan Peugeot at Pikes peak kinda noise coming from the engine bay.

i agree with lobster.......gti-r engine and drivline all the way....there great in the pulsar....imagine in a ute.....nearly half the weight.
