does the vanette have the porsche syncro's or does it have the brass ring type syncro?

a mate of mine was going to see if he could make a vanette box work by using a gear selector from a front wheel drive car (cable selectors)have to ask him how he got on??

HAY GUYS this mite be what I was looking for.
Think hard, is that 60 a dog leg or plain in line shift? The c20 box mite solve all my 5 speed dramers.As soon as anyone lets me know I will let you all know WALLY what you think?
