Don't forget all the racing 1200s in Texas, Florida and New Jersey.

And the dozens of 1200 drag racers in Puerto Rico, USA. See Photo Album pics 140-178.

As a comparison, in USA, Nissan sold 89,541 coupes and 43,761 2-dr sedans. For three years, not bad at all, but not a blockbuster seller like the Ford Pinto and Chevrolet Vega. Where did they all go?

Come to think of it, there are more 1200s left than Pintos and Vegas ... hey that's a pretty good reflection on the 1200!

Hehe ... I like to think that after recycling they are living on in the raw materials for 350Zs and Sentra SE-Rs.

I have at this time a complete '72 Coupe that is all stock except for a 5 speed transmission and Eclipse seats, a '71 2dr Sedan that is becoming my road racing school car, a '7x semi-tube frame ex-race car that may or may not be completed someday, and a '73 Coupe body shell in storage. Out of four bodies one runs.... at least I have quite a stash of spare parts. Oh yeah.. a '72 Sedan that went to recycle heaven as it was beyond repair. I know of three others in the Albuquerque, NM USA area that still run including a pristine '71 Sedan that has 250k + miles on the original A12.
