$2100?
Have they seen the classifieds on a saturday morning?
You'd be lucky to get one for that price. Especially done up.
When my friend had his 1200 sedan written off he said it was worth $3,500 and he got it.
That was only because he wasn't at fault and he didn't have comprehensive insurance though...
His dad then bought it back off the insurance company for $500 and then paid $500 to get it panel beated back into a reasonable shape again...

Oh yeah - BMW?

ok...basically what was metioned before.
Its A15, twin 40's, 4 speed, thermo fan

umm...rest of the body is not straight, but not too bad.

Interior is tidy with stock seats, retrimmed doors, woodgrain steering wheel. thats about it.

But yeah like you said you might not offer enough to make it worthwhile for me

Why couldn't you get an appraisal stating the ute (before the crash) was worth so much? Or more specifically, that a replacement would cost so much? Then the insurance company would have to reconsider.

$2100 doesn't sound too bad if you get to keep the ute, engine, seats, etc. Would $2100 buy a nice body that needs mechanical work?

Yeah, I'm gonna try getting an appraisal to get some more out of them.

But yeah a shell with a stuffed motor or no motor is what I'm looking for, but they're not that easy to find.

Anyone got one for sale????
