need a 4 speed gearbox for my 1200 ute soon, mine now has a hairline crack in the housing due to my over exhuberant adventures while sleep driving.
I am in melbourne australia.
Yes, the rest of the car is okay, but my pants are not.

witch part of the housing is cracked on yours?
I'd like to keep my bell housing if possible

umm dont know really, still driving it. it appears to be between the engine and gearbox areas where the seal is. its not ht eseal, got my mechanic to look at it. he reckons its the gearbox. Easier to replace it casue they are not exactly expensive. Paid $75 for this one.

hey mate I have a nice 4sp sitting in the shed. Got a 5 speed in there too if you want that. $300 for the 4 and $850 for the 5. Got a 2" ute exhaust if you cracked that too.

nah, found one for $100 in moorabin. Fit it tommorow.
thanks for the offers. Pulled the old one out and the gbox oil is coming out of the center shaft seal. might need a new clutch too, it looked pretty shabby.
