Too weird. I was just going to post this as a comparison/alternative to the elusive 1200 2-dr sedan.

Nice 'lookin little Corolla 1200.

Not being a Toyota guy, I can't get myself into trouble by admitting I prefer the look of this 2dr sdn (Peanut) to the Coupe (Mango). I guess I'm just nostalgic since it was one of the first cars I owned and wrecked.

Too much attention is being put on modern Jap rides. What happened to "respect your elders"?

Man, nice pictures! I'm tempted to buy this and move over to corolla1200.com. Help save me! What again are the advantages of Datsun 1200 over Corolla 1200?

I think that is a 2tc 1.6 motor (you can tell by the hemi head).

Anyway, we don't believe for a minute you that if you bought the peanut that you would be able to stay away from datsun1200.com.

In any case, you should check out Tom's Corolla Page.

Stop this talk now!

The corollas have their place...in any driveway other than mine

These were much more prone to rust than the Datsun 1200 or 510.

And the plastic add ons are just plain ugly.

The general lines on these cars, with the Trueno tailights would be nice, except that all of the grills look horrible.
