The GT 500 in 60 seconds was not a real one. It was built by Chip Foose Design and featured a few subtle changes including the larger dia Halibrand wheels. In my copy of the movie to my tired old eyes the car looks more gold than silver. The PPG code for the 67 GT500 colour Silver Frost is 32520. Have a search on the net for Chip's site and send him an email.

I.ve been kicking the idea around of doing mine silver for a long time. The trouble is there are so many variations some look good others look #$@%.

Just get her back to bare metal / file finished and hit it with about 50 coats of clear

does anyone here know exactly the paint code for the silver used on the gt500 shelby in gone in sixty seconds?? im keen on getting this color for my next 1200, its the most awesome color!!! any help would be appreciated??
