cant be too hard to get an a-14 in SA, that would make your a12 a lot torquey hehehe

if you need a project you could try installing water injection, im not that keen on it myself mut a mate of mine set it up in his ####ted honda civic and it now does 3rd gear burnouts and torque steers like mad. they used it in formula 1 in the 70s with good results so i guess it cant be to bad.

A less-tall tire would make it feel torquier.

So would the original four-speed, which has a much shorter 1st gear than the 5-speeds.

Forced induction would help (turbo or supercharger).

Other than that, there's not much that can be done. The A12 factory setup was designed for mid-range HP. Add a bigger carb or oval port heads doesn't help with low-speed HP (aka torque).

hey guys,

i have a A-12, how can i make my motor more "torquey" i've put a cam in it with a 32/36 webber, i feel i need more torque. would changing wheel dia. help?
