not sure if the b110's came like this from the factory, but I have seen other model jdm nissans, e.g., 240z and 810/Bluebird, with "stick on" oem bumper corner strips made of some sort of black, flexible plastic.
maybe this guy is using some of those? btw, if you haven't already done so, do a babelfish translation of this page or the whole website. it's quite a kick
