You know, I'm doing exactly the same thing...building a 1200 race car that is.

I've been kicking around the track in a R32 Skyline for a while, but the mainteance bill is killing me.

I like you will be on the look out for great ideas on how to make this fine example of auto engineering go quick (sub 2min at Phillip Island)

A CA18 is my first port of call I belive

G;day Fellas...

Just thought I'd post this and see what your opinions were....

I recently bought a complete 1200 sedan running with rego only to find it has a defect with the EPA, since fixed but big headache to clear and I don't have the time to work in with their f%*ked up schedule.

So, I have decided its a budget track car to go up against my other '85 Barina thrasher which I managed 1.20's at Wakefiled Park on its first run out with fuel surge.

My problem being the Datto has to be quicker, if only by a 100th of a sec

So, where to i start? Budget in mind, and also no laws to keep.

I am firstly thinking the Stanza struts and 120Y sawy bar, willing to look into a bigger A series but nothing more.

Keep in mind I do have a project car aswell, so cash is at a minimum, but want things done properly, not bodgey....

Suggestions fellas.
