We got them back in tonight with a bottle jack and one of us standing on the control arm to get it as low as possible. Hopefully we will get the time to hook up the brake lines and bleed the brakes tomorrow night.

No, turn the steering wheel lock to lock a few times and see if that helps get your wheels/tires back to normal. Mine does that too, i think it's just the tires "folding" over.
