It's probably best to get it to an expert to setup the fuel pressure and general tuning. You can get a malpassi fuel reg for carbys so you can get rid of the hobbs, if need be. But your mechanic will know more about his than i would.
Also what type of BOV are you running? It might be best to recirculate it at this stage.

the big pump uses 14psi, it is switched on by a hobbs pressure switch when boost hits, nad the small turned off

i think i need to get my car to my mechanic cause i really have no clue whats happening exactly, there were noises coming from exhaust hitting floor and rattling when i back off and i had three mates in the car (who helped push start a few times )

too much going on it kept just dying off i dunno if that was cause small pump was stuffed or what really

will keep ya's posted

It won't make positive boost at idle. How much psi is your big pump making? It shouldn't be making too much as it's still carby.

i put in a new spigot bush and gearbox yesterday then i got it running and tried to go round the block, i have the fuel pumps in parralel, i think when the high psi petrol pump kicked in the pressure killed the little pump, so i got another pump and a one way valve to protect it today, im pretty sick but so i may put it in tommorow

i heard the spool and the BOV a few times, was pretty cool

it doesnt seem to make positive boost in neutral though so its hard to check operation of fuel pumps and stuff, i havent revved it really hard but i would have thought it would still make boost without load on motor?
