Hey RC get a screw driver and slip off the little 'c' clip on top of the wastegate where it goes into the exhaust housing, slip off the rod and wind it out 1.5 turns on both turbos, that'll drop the boost down to 6-7 psi then itll hang on better,
what fuel are you running in it?
I allways ran optimax in it, dont know how much difference that made butits not much dearer.
Can you hear it pinging under boost? That exhaust rattle you spoke of eariler wasnt pinging was it???

If you havent altered the dizzy and are running good fuel in it, it shouldnt be

yeah im running synergy (same as optimax), i dunno what pining sounds like really i hope not, did you alter the dizzy in the first place?

thanks ill turn em down and see what happens but i need to chuck in a new head gasket first, otherwise the cops will be able to catch me just by following the trail of smoke

actually the exhaust rattle only occured when i backed off, its gone now

one other question, where did you mount the fuel pump cause i have mine above the tank but in the first place i had to let it hang and run it, to get the air to come out of it, it wouldnt push the air out when above the tank. Im thinking air may slowly build up again, if say i go round a corner and the fuel surges away from the pickup in the tank.

what sort of fuel pump are you running?

And yes you should have the fuel pump mounted below the fuel level, but sometimes that's not possible?
