Guys how much does a sedan weight as on my rego papers it says that my ute weights 680kg,i have been told that its the weight off the sedan times 2.5 and if i can remember correctly works out to be 1835cc which means it just scraps in.

620KGs ???

where do these 'original' weights come from .... ?

Mine is 980Kgs on the scales with the CA18DE in it and an Auto box - yes i have added weight all over the place but not 360Kgs !

Talk to an engineer and challenge the weight you're being told or better yet weigh your car before doing anything. It's only $30 and may be well spent
