ok i now have a 1200 ute,and i'm also keen on doing a ca18 conversion.
i have been told the engineer rules have been changed in nsw,and this is no longer aloud.
does any one have any info on this? or know some one i can contact? thanks.

Guys how much does a sedan weight as on my rego papers it says that my ute weights 680kg,i have been told that its the weight off the sedan times 2.5 and if i can remember correctly works out to be 1835cc which means it just scraps in.

my ute is 620kgs on rego papers, allows me 1900cc engine

620KGs ???

where do these 'original' weights come from .... ?

Mine is 980Kgs on the scales with the CA18DE in it and an Auto box - yes i have added weight all over the place but not 360Kgs !

Talk to an engineer and challenge the weight you're being told or better yet weigh your car before doing anything. It's only $30 and may be well spent
