why do you want sound so loud when you have turbo's to listen to .

i've got 2 6x9's 180w run by a 150x2 amp pioneer head unit mids in the front with tweeters on the dash and it rocks more than adiquite
thats my 2cents

nah i like the sound, spose it depends what music you like, i like techno and the louder the better really, i dont like it when i get out of the car and my ears ring so id ont turn it up that loud, but pretty close too

I rekon you should record your Turbo in action then burn it to a disc so you can play with that on your stez
Then when you are old & deaf you can say it was the Turbos that made me deaf not watching Nicholas's avitar

i would go for the 2 12" subs. ive had 2 12's and they make for a happy medium between the cleanliness of the 10's and the raw power of the 15 without all the distortion

My set up is pretty unconventional, A pioneer 35x4 head unit, with a 2 6" 3 ways in the front and the same in the rear. Under the drivers seat I've got a 40W powered 5" sub, the best thing about this is that it isn't overly bassy, sounds really good and doesn't take up any of the boot
which is kind of vital when I'm doing road trips...

Im surprised Rallycar youre not into AC/DC or something!!!....Techno lovers usually drive Preludes/Civics etc...that'll probabvly get you going!!

Funny to see the same divisions form between Aussie Datsun owners as we've got here in the states. Guys ricing up their Datsuns as if they were Hondas or whatever. rallycar kindly warned us non-ricers in his post heading to "beware," but that just acts as bait to get us to read the post, intentional or not.

i like a lot of music from techno to punk and alternative, but i listen to techno mostly because i like the bass when im driving
