Hello all there again!!

Well thanks to all your tips i have removed my twin SUs of my cylinder head (all in one piece)

Now my second confusing problem is....

I am wanting to place an A14 intake manifold on the head now....

It has just the ol' single hitachi carb on it but i have noticed that it has no base just a big empty square on the under side of the manifold (i think it is supposed to recess into the original exaust manifold).

My problem here is ....
I don't have the original manifold i've got extractors?

Have i overlooked something really obvious here or is there some solution to this problem..

Thanks heaps in advance, all your help is really valued..

ConFused??

Kieran

I'm running a standard 1400 inlet manifold above a turbo. All we have done is made a plate out of 3/16 alloy sheet and made a gasket and it hasn't failed under 15psi of boost, so go for it.

Just bolted it to the bottom of the manifold using the orginail bolt holes that went in to the exhaust manifold.
