I don't know about other parts of the world, but in SoCal, carbon fiber hoods on old Datsuns equates to riceafied old skool.

Yeah there's even a couple of companies making them but no GX yet. They do make the GX in fiberglass though.

With all that outlay, you would think it would be available as a GX version.

I'm still undecided. I need a new hood but I'm not sure if this goes with the look I'm trying to go for. If I get one I'll get a carbon chin spoiler too.

Hmm I don't know why it works for some and not for others. I usually go to the Club's Tech Section and click on the link to search for Sunny B110 on Yahoo Japan. Then I deleted the B110 part so it just said Sunny (in Japanese) in the Search box and then 91 pages of Sunny stuff pops up including the Carbon fiber hoods which I saw today for the first time. I translated the writing on the auction using the Babelfish link and it said they sell outright for like 52000 Yen, but the auction can get you them for less. I can't wait to get one of these!
