If the sunroof is correctly installed, then it should not negatively affect your engineering report.

However,..... i have yet to see an aftermarket sunroof that did not eventually leak. Most of the people that i know that have these sunroofs have come to regret it. In the summer they let in UV & heat when the roof is closed & when one is finally sick of it, you find that restoration work to the roof is not easy, or cheap.

From my own limited observation, they reduce the value of the car.
