Auto to Manual Conversion for 240K Coupe

I want to convert my auto tranny to 5 speed manual for my 240K (Skyline C110) coupe, and I called Z car workshop (brisbane Z workshop) as I heard I can just get parts from Z's and will bolt straight in as they are similar in some stuff, and the guy told me to just buy a manual car as it is a very difficult job.???
Anyone knows a place that will do this conversion? thanks

provided you find a gearbox and stuff the actual conversion is generally quite easy, ive done it on a TF cortina and a 1200 and they were both suprisigly easy to convert
