is it worth putting a 32/36 on a standard A12?

My carby needs an acid bath and a kit and i was thinking of going for the 32/36 weber option, is it worthwhile without any other mods or should i just stick to the stockie? A12 is totally 1973 spec. cheers

plus u can use it for later anyway with a re-jet
