Lowering Blocks

Can anyone tell me if lowering blocks are legal in NSW (Australia) ?
I'd hate to do the job and end up in the ####

not 100% sure bout nsw but in vic they are legal if they still have a pin through the centre of them holding them to the leafs

i had 2" blocks from penrith suspension on my ute and am of the understanding that they are not legal...
could be wrong, when all else fails, a quick call to an engineer should help

i had 2.5 inch blocks on my ute but was told by the engineer that they where illegal and 2 get through rego i had 2 put 1.5 inch blocks on. Im in NSW. Hope that helps. I may convert back up to 2 inch blocks, we shall see what the future holds!!!!
