Alternative manifolds for use on our A-series engines

After Myco2 homebuilt SU manifold using an MGB/Datsun Manifolds...I was wondering if the British "A series" manifold can also be used?? or is it the same engine?
In the catalogue I have it lists the A series engine being 848cc to 1275cc and the MGB as having the 1800cc...In this catalogue they list a manifold for a 48IDA for the 1275cc A series engine...My thoughts...That 48IDA would sure look unique in our Datsun A-series engines!!! ![]() Plus not to mention the antique Judson Superchargers for the MG's that are listed sometimes on Ebay!

Mini's are my main hobby. I can tell you the manifold definitely won't fit without modification. Once you cut the 'u' off the stock Datto manifold you will have 2 separate intake pieces that could be welded to the IDA manifold after you cut the ears off. You might have to adjust the width as the A series is narrower.
