Increasing your spring height is a good thing, and if there is a heavier engine use 300 pound springs

With the nickname of A-14, i am confused about what this heavier engine is, & what chassis it is in. I'm guessing that it's a B120 ute,

So not only is this brand X engine heavier, but since the Datsun blokes don't favour it, then it must also be inferior.
If this brand X engine is so heavy that you need stiffer springs to hold it up, are you sure that this is a good swap? There are a lot of good engines out there [even brand X ones, but i won't repeat that in public] that are also light enough to be "1200 friendly" so i hope that you have chosen wisely.

Never mind. Good luck with it.
