You are a hatefull, lothesome disgusting creature, & i hope that a garbage truck runs over you then dumps it's load of rotting garbage on your shattered corpse.
Oh, sorry, i thought i was writing to my local government member. Now, where were we. Ahh yes, the rotor. Several people have done it & they will undoubtably give you the good oil, but i believe that the conversion will require an engineering clearance, so remember to factor that into your cost estimates. The Mazda rotaries do go well, but there are many that are not too fond of the sound they make when the exhaust is opened up a bit. It can spoil an otherwise good job. Good luck

13b turbo is not registerable in NSW.
Stop your dreaming immediately. With a 13B you'd just be paying bail, before they put you in the slammer for killing some MPs fluffy excuse for a dog..or soemthing just as lame. It really is that simple. CA18DET is the largest engine you can put in you car, unless you buy 3 engines and get very creative. If you can't do it yourself, and are asking about price, I think you need to ask, can I do it..before where shall I do it. I'm not a wet blanket.. just the friendly rainstorm of truth. Chris ps. If you are rich and have 15k of cash to burn, then I'm sure a few fellas on this site would be happy to install the engine for you. You might need to travel around NSW for the help though. But as a "road vehicle", it's simply not worth entertaining the idea.

Matey..if you can get it registered..it's all good.
I used to love rotaries...before I realised what kind of people I'd have to associate with. I was determined to fight the dark side ever since. What about fabricate hydraulic clutch mounts, make new tubes for brakes and clutch, upgrade brakes, upgrade diff, upgrade fuel lines, determine best radiator hoses (make them>), new tailshaft. An underspec'd job is a project that is destined to end in the trading post. Look at the CA18 price breakdowns presented in the many previous posts, before underestimating the costs. It'll be great... just budget appropriately. Chris

I know it's a corny old line, but there are many of us who will feel a wry grin on their faces, who know all too well from bitter experience just how true it is. It's amazing where the money goes.

Isnt the white 1200 coupe with 13bt on this site from canberra?
Quote: Tuning on latest Computer Controlled Dyno Dynamics Dyno Love that one, Even an old dyno will will produce the same results. All it does is place varying loads on the vehicle to simulate various driving conditions. The gas analysier is what the tuner relies on to fine tune the engine. Mazfix are a fairly big name with proven results, Tuning comes down to the tuner knowing their stuff. Quote: Hooked to existing exhaust Might as well put a good size exhaust while you are there. Existing exhaust ( Thinking 1200 exhaust) will not allow the best from the engine, so if you dyno it now, you will need to pay again and dyno it later when you do put a good exhaust. Whats the sense in paying twice for something if you did it right the first time you wouldnt need. Sometimes waiting a bit longer till you have the money to do it right will be cheaper in the end.

i was talking to my mums friend last night and he told me that he has a bit of exp[ierience in engine conversions and said i should just do it my self. i was looking at a few post and saw that someone actually said it is the next easiest conversion to the A12 is this true. What steps are involved in the conversion. eg. modify the existing Xmember or get an Rx 2,3,4,7member and get it too suit any info would be great would a h190 diff hold the 13bt??? can it be adapted???
