Do anybody knows where can I get a new idle arm ? for a 1972 1200.

Itry at all them plces to include auto parts and speed shops in area. Doyou have adress or phone number of any place thatmay have it ?.

Looks like a difficult part to find. There was one on eBay the week before last (?).
The idler arm bushing kits seem to be readily available anywhere, see http://www.rockauto.com or http://www.partsamerica.com, they are only $5-$10, I don't know how they are put in.

Ah, it looks fairly easy (I'm looking at the Nissan factory manual). If the ball stud (tie-rod-like end) of the idler arm is OK, but the "shaft" part is bad, the bushings should fix it. Just apply soapy water to the outside of the bushings (don't get oil or grease on the inside), assemble, and tighten the nut to 41-45 ft-lb.
