I guess you didn't visit Portugal
![]() This summer I noticed that in small towns there are far more Datsuns (and older cars in general). Out in Aberdeen, Washington I saw an astounding amount of Datsuns.

Here in Europe you really must say "what you can get", because 25 years ago, when Europeans had to change their Datsun for a new car, because repairing the rust on their Datsun was to expensive for a 10 year old car, the african poeple came and bought every single Datsun, even the light commercial onces. They did the same Toyota. So we are poor of any spare part from the junk. Everything has to be taken new(if still available). That makes a Datsun an inaccessible classic car for must poeple. For exemple, MG is still prducing entire bodies and what everis not anymore produced by MG is available as aftermarket, because MG has released or sold the copyright. At Nissan they never sold any copyright.

yeah, a friend of mine spent 3 weeks in portugal recently, sent me a postcard saying that I would love it as there were datsuns and escorts on every corner. She said the first car she saw when she got off the plane was a 1200 coupe!! My kind of country, I love the warm weather and can even speak the language!!

Yeah i found the same thing datdude, not one datto in Paris or milan.
Although when i was in NY i saw a 2 door P510 and a 240Z, both totally immaculate. Which is pretty weird because i was used to seeing hummers on 22" and the like. Got me excited. I also looked into bringing back a 1600 2 door shell, and was amazed at the amount of dattos and parts that were being advertised in NY state alone. You can view topic.
