Turbo setup

Hi guys its time to turbo and i need some advice on the do's and dont's of a turbo installation,like for example where would i tap a oil line for the turbo and what would i need to custom build for a draw trough?

Tee into the oil line at the oil pressure switch.
Do a search, there should be swags of photos of drawthrough turbos in the photo album

Thanks for the info ! do i need to lower compression on a standard a-14 or can i run it as is

yes, you really should lower the CR. It's not compulsory if you want to run low boost, but if you want to crank it up in the future (And you will) then you will need to drop it a bit.
You can do this by fitting a decomp shim under the head, or by putting in A15 pistons. There are other ways, but those are the most straight forward.

i just finished building a suckthrough turbo setup for an L block bluebird.
the only thing i bought was a turbo and exhaust manifold cost me $300. i used the standard inlet manifold just removed the carby and made a pipe that ran from here to the turbo outlet. for the oil line you can just put a t piece into where the preasure sender screws in. when i first put it on it blew a head gasket so i got a 2mm copper gasket made for bout $120 runs sweet now on up to 10psi no reason why an A series wouldn't be any different i should really take it to get tuned but havn't got off my arse yet
