Gear reduction starter for sunny 310

yeah maybe it's not that exciting for most of you, I just swapped my old tired starter out for a cool new reduction type. It nearly didn't fit, its really close to the rt. engine mount.

I knew that Nissan installed these on a few ... which year B310 had them? Maybe California-only models? I've not seen one myself.
I reckon it makes the A14 sound like a Mopar, at least until the engine fires.

I have only ever seen those in the US parts books. they would be great for a grumpy hi comp race engine.

I have an 81 210, I just saw it looking that the starters available at partsamerica.com... $75 and thought..hmm would that work.
my car didn't come with it.
