It will depend on if you have a slipyoke in the tailshaft of your transmission and the length of your proposed one piece driveline. The driveline shops here won't balance a driveline longer than 5 feet.

how about the stock setup??will it break.
because i would like to keep the stock setup. but if it will fail on me the solustion it direct shaft. and the driveshaft would never be longer than 5 feet....from tranny to rearend.

Yes, it might break.
No, it might not break. You're going to have to run it to find out. There are too many factors for anyone to say. Maintenamnce and driving style are two of the biggest issues.

Datsun 1200s have one-piece driveshafts. It's mostly trucks that have two-piece. So you might ask in a truck forum or a drag racing site.

Most longer wheelbased cars have the 2 piece tailshaft. Including many 1600kg+ V8 sedans, and trucks.
By changing to a single piece shaft, you will weaken the unit (or make it heavier). Adapt a bigger centre bearing if you break your existing one. Start worrying about the important things..like can you afford the project.

We are using "general" information to help you out with your 620. None of us know much about the 620. It's time you got a little more self-sufficient and started reading some books on the 620.
for US$3.99 you can fix things yourself. Please invest in a Workshop Manual Before you start insulting me, I have plenty of Datsun 1200 books, that's why I know a fair bit about them. I doubt anyone on here can explain to you how to change/install the center bearing for the tailshaft on your 620, and I can tell you that I certainly don't want to learn about them.
