not everything needs 2bar of boost. Damn straight everything needs 2 bar of boost! Actually doing it is another story... As per the great words of another datsun owner, "If in doubt, run more boost".

one way to chnge the compression ratio is to 'dish' the pistons, in other words machine a dish in the the piston, some body posted a pic of their pistons(i think it was kegs?) that shows exactly what i'm on about.
I have a de-compression plate in my turbo motor, that is the cheaper equivenlent, i have also heard that an even cheaper way is to use 2 head gaskets but that leads to lots of problems. but pro 240c is right you don't need to run 1 000 000 psi of boost to acheive good results, unless you plan t o-ring the block(well, maybe not that much boost) the only thing i can suggest is talk to a mechanic that knows about turbos and see what they reakon. Research the topic, there has been so many posts about this, use the 'SEARCH' bar on the right. 'when in doubt, run more camber' AMEN TO THAT!!!! ![]()
