Give us a measurement and we can check things out
stanza sway bar is about 1 1/2 inches wider than 120y and thicker I think

I think the skinnier 1200 one will fit, if you switch brackets and all.
It won't be perfect,(due to it being smaller than the 120Y one, but it should fit. It's enough to get through registration. You can then search for an aftermarket one to suit a 1200, when you have more time/money. Chris ps. This advice is given, as I know that the CA18 has a similar sized sump, and the 1200 sway bar fits ok (120Y one doesn't), if the engine is set back as far as possible in the engine bay.

hmmm, the only issue I had with the swap was that the 180B x-member fouled the 120Y's castor rod brackets.
castor rod bracket mod Why doesn't the swaybar fit? the width of the 120Y and 180B sway bar is almost identical, as can be seen in this photo (you can see where the link pins are in the arms) 120Y/180B x-members Do your castor rods reach the control arms? Sounds to me like you didn't mount the 180B x-member in the forward set of holes in the 120Y chassis, and bolted it up where the 120Y x-member was. You can see the different designs of the x-member and control arm mounting facilities in this photo120Y/180B x-members 2. The 180B x-member must be mounted in the forward set of chassis mounts in the 120Y body to keep the control arms (and everything else) in the correct position.

nah we had to cut the castor rod brackets to make the xmember fit in the forward set of holes - so it's definitely in the right spot. castor rods bolted up no sweat.
it's just the swaybar link seems to sit at an aggrevated angle - not sure if that's okay or not. it's definitley on more of an angle than the original position. the 180B swaybar is about 80mm wider at either end, so much so we couldn't mount it up to the 120Y position. but the swaybar arms look to be shorter than the 120Y's, and about the angle and length we need.

Okay guys i have since moved this and changed that and it fits....
i feel stupid, and harry i did have it in the right spots and it fit perfectly as soon as we cut the bit we needed. things are back on track now but if you want to use the 120Y struts you have to swap the struts so the left is on the right and the right is on the left so the brake calipers clear the steering. or just wait and get stanza struts. (which i am doing now) anyone know what size wheels i need to fit 200B discs and calipers on stanza struts. i don't think they will fit under my 13" jellybeans

good to hear its sorted out.
Your 13" wheels should be fine on 200B brakes.

See the link to the photo from Harry. I'll just hijack thid thread now. Can anyone say for 100% sure if The B310 has the same spare holes as the 120Y? Has anyone done this swap? You can view topic.
