Does the DCOE and IDF weber have the same bolt pattern as a 32/36 carb? if so, with an adaptor (and all the mods needed for fitting a 32/36) could i use a IDF carb?

Urgent!! a friend is offering me a 40 IDF weber, used on his dads a 4cyl. torana, he's offering it to me for $200, and would need to know if i would need a new intake manifold for this carb?

the horizontal ones are DCOE's, the vertical ones are IDA's or IDF's.
It would take an interesting adapter and possibly a hole in the hood to get an IDF to fit.
I'll scan and post something regarding bolt patterns.

looks like i will have to find a new intake manifold for it QUICKLY or i will have to let this oppurtunity slip up

i've got a 44 idf that i want to bolt on to my 1400, but i've had a manifold made up, looks good and works well. what motor is that in the pic?

will post pics of it soon for you to get some ideas

modified stock on, works great lots of welding to do though, i'll try post pics by the weekend
