ANGE Posted on: 2005/2/2 10:28
im about to get hold of a stanza sedan...

just wondering what parts would be good to salvage for my 1200??

also if anyone needs anything from it everything will be sold cheap as i can only keep it for a short while because i dont have the room...

it has an L16 and auto..
and its round headlight model so no girlock's im sorry...

get the diff centre out of it & fit it into you're
ute,that is if they're both h165's.don't throw
away the housing, either, cause someone on this site might grab it to put into a sunny (b310).keep the brake booster & master cylinder, because they can be used to put boosted brakes into the ute.it's a pity you're in
vic, because i'd grab the engine crossmember off you at least, probably the gearbox crossmember & the diff housing.the freight to sydney would be the killer, though.oh,strip all the nuts & bolts, clips,& pins off it before you
through it away.they're cheaper than buying them from a dealer.

if anyone is intrested in converting to stanza headlights i have someone elses work where they were probably 80% along converting the grill to fit, that was actually for twin square headlight not the round though,

i rather stay stock so the car is easier to identify but if others like the idea.....let me know

the stanza diff ratio is 3.7:1,which makes for much more relaxed cruising & better range from
a tank of petrol.
