ok so i got my front brake calipers rebuilt, machined the disc, regreased and set all the bearings and now i put them all back on bleed front and back brakes and now just tested them in the driveway and the stop on a level surface but the pedal goes practically the whole way to the floor
am i doing something wrong
any help or comments would be great

It sounds like you still have air in them. Try clamping the front & rear brakes off. Then put your foot on the brake. If the pedal goes to the floor the master cylinder has a problem. If the pedal goes rock hard the master cylinder is ok. If the master cylinder is ok rebleed the brakes

Did you bleed the rears? Go on, do it just for fun. Make sure that they are properly adjusted first. Keep bleeding them untill you have nice clean brake fluid coming out.
If that doesn't help, then follow through with other tests.

either you still have air in your brake system somwhere..

or your master cylinder gave up when you bled the brakes...

this happened to me...
its common in older cylinders for the seal to get damaged if you press the pedal all the way to the floor...

It ic common for old master cylinders to fail after bleeding as there is always crap at the end of the bore & sticks the piston in the end of the bore or turns the sealing cup iside out. It is best wen bleeding brakes not to push the pedal all the way to the floor.

yeah, i would go the full bleed again. start with the wheel furthest from the m/c and work your way to the closest. see how it goes...

Just a thought .....
if you rebleed all four corners and all is still not well, bleed the master as well and try again. Usually only a problem if you have disconnected lines to the cylinder but I have had to bleed my m/c after caliper changes in the past. Worth a look.

do you have the calipers on the correct side.a friend of mine,(no,not me,really),had them on the wrong sides,& couldn't get a poor pedal.the bleed nipples should be at the top of the caliper,so the air can't get trapped in the
piston.if this is correct,try bleeding the master
cylinder.the best way i've found to do this is
run the bleed line back into the reservoir,so you don't drain the reservoir & cause extra work.if
this fails,pull the hand brake on,if the pedal
gets better,bleed the rear brakes.if all this fails,
then look at the m/cylinder.
